Remnants of Meigs Field

In September 2004, I attended a trade show held in McCormack Place in Chicago. The event center has a walkway overlooking the site of what used to be Meigs Field. Apparently the city had recently opened a park with a jogging trail on the site. It's tragic that petty politics had to interfere with this once famous airport. Here are the pictures I took:
