ATTENTION
1 June 2004 - I have decided to sell my Vantec Speed controller, since I no longer use it.

For the average hobbyist who is trying to design
and build a robotic platform, there is a serious need for a motor controller.
Many commercial units available are expensive, and many R/C hobby units
are inadequate. A group on the RobotWars Delphi Forum decided to
apply the open source software development model to the design process
of a high quality speed controller that could be built for a reasonable
cost, and would be freely available for anyone to tinker with, improve
upon, and do whatever they want with it. This page has been set up
in order to document the status of this project. This project has been oriented
toward robotic combat applications, but there could be other applications where this hardware may be useful.
